Exodus Chapter 14 Verse 7 — And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
Exodus Chapter 15 Verse 4 — Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
Numbers Chapter 16 Verse 5 — And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
Deuteronomy Chapter 7 Verse 6 — For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy Chapter 18 Verse 5 — For the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.

And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
2 Chronicles Chapter 13 Verse 17 — And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
